Find Your Own Patriot Ancestor

Did you know that the DAR houses one of the premiere genealogy collections in the country at its headquarters in Washington, D.C. The DAR Genealogical Research System lets anyone look for a patriot ancestor or a descendant from the comfort of their home. There are also links to search the DAR Library collection of Bible records, books, and other types of records. Additionally, the Illinois State Organization has an extensive collection of genealogical research material in the Illinois DAR Genealogical Library housed in the C.E. Brehm Library in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.  Within our chapter, they are ladies who can help you in your goal to be a member of DAR. We would welcome you at one of our meetings to get to know each other. Contact us for time and location.

Our Patriots

We honor our ancestor patriots as part of our commitment to historic preservation and patriotism.
Our members are descendants of these patriots who sacrificed their lives and fortunes to establish this nation.
