We are part of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). A nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization, the DAR was founded in 1890, by women who wanted to honor their heritage and make a difference in their communities. The objectives of historical preservation, education, and patriotism are still ours today:

Historic Preservation
Our chapter is involved in a s variety of projects dedicated to ensuring that the history of our nation is preserved for generations to come.

Education
Education is one of the main focuses of the mission of the DAR, we support this In our community through programs, contests, and awards.

Patriotism
From volunteering with veterans to marching in parades, our members demonstrate patriotism in many ways.
