Welcome!

Welcome to the electronic home of the Geneseo Chapter and its members, honored to be an active part of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Illinois State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution. Our chapter has thrived in the Geneseo area for more than one hundred and ten years.

Take your time looking through our web site and get to know us. We're a committed group of women who steadfastly support the National Society themes through our work in community and education, in historic preservation, in genealogical research, in veteran services, in observing patriotic anniversaries, and in upholding those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which our American patriot ancestors sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

We welcome you to visit us at one of our meetings, normally held on the second Saturday of the month between September and May, or at local community gatherings, such as Veterans Day or Memorial Day. Our Daughters also participate in special events throughout the year - check our program calendar or request information by sending us an email. You can learn more about becoming a member here.

Any woman 18 years or older - regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background - who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. We invite you to visit a chapter meeting to experience Geneseo's Daughters' welcoming hospitality.
