Rock River Chapter nsdar

Sterling, Illinois

Rock River

Welcome

Our name Rock River Chapter NSDAR, was chosen to reflect the chapter’s broad history and heritage.

Today’s Rock River Chapter NSDAR, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is a result of the combination of two previous chapters, both of Whiteside County. The Morrison Chapter NSDAR, organized in 1903, and the Rock River Chapter NSDAR, organized in 1917. Both chapters were active in their communities and had supported DAR projects on state and national levels. In 1995, the two chapters merged. The new chapter retained the name, Rock River Chapter. We celebrated our 105th anniversary in 2023.
