"Boxes of Sunshine" school supplies provided through the generous contributions of our members were presented to the 4th graders of Caseyville Elementary on Sept. 3, 2021.



Members met for a "socially distanced" meeting on May 8th.


Awards from the IL State NSDAR were presented.


District meeting honored our late member Betty Ford Honorary Illinois State Regent



"Serving Those Who Have Served Us" was the program given by Illinois State Regent, Sharla Luken,for our November online meeting.





Regent Julie Bartsch presided and members attended the meeting via Zoom. It was good to be able to meet together in spite of the pandemic restrictions.




An informational program by the HeartLands Conservancy was given at our October meeting. New members were also received.




September's meeting was held in the backyard of our Registrar, Susan Herren, where she gave a "Conservation Tour" which included information on all of the ways to make your yard friendly to wildlife.




Members met for an unusual Welcome Tea this year - outside in a member's front yard. Dues were paid and school supplies were dropped off for the "Boxes of Sunshine" Project to support children going back to school in the days of Covid.


Members of our chapter recently put together bluebird houses as a Conservation project. Thanks to Susan Herren (far left) for coordinating this and making sure supplies were available.



Members of Cahokia Mound Chapter NSDAR participated in the naturalization ceremony at the Jackie Joiner Kersee Center in East St. Louis, Illinois, on November 15, 2019.


During the October 2019 meeting, members made flannel tie blankets for Soldier’s Angels as its National DAR Day of Service to America.


On October 5, 2019, the NSDAR announced Amy Dickinson as the one-millionth member of the Society since its founding.


Chapter members kicked off Constitution Week by attending a naturalization ceremony at Belleville West High School in Belleville, Illinois.
