Fort Massac DAR furthers our society's mission of encouraging patriotism, preserving history, and improving children's education.

PATRIOTISM
Handing Out Flags:
During the naturalization ceremonies at Southern Illinois University–Carbondale we hand out flags welcoming new citizens.
Services for Veterans:
• Giving Christmas gifts to veterans in nursing homes
• Giving cards to veterans on Veteran's Day
• Visiting with veterans
• Donating to the Honor Flight
HISTORICAL PRESERVATION
Assisted with the restoration of the George Rogers Clark statue in Fort Massac State Park
