We serve and recognize others serving in the Chicago community through a variety of service and outreach projects throughout the year. Our projects honor the mission of DAR and relate to Education, Historic Preservation, and Patriotism.
We Love a Parade
Our chapter participates in several parades throughout the year celebrating American Patriots and independence.
Partnership with Rosehill Cemetery
Our chapter works with the historic Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago to honor veterans laid to rest in the cemetery through our Never Forget Garden and Wreaths Across America projects.
Member Engagement and Social Activities
We have a lot of fun and make great friends in our chapter through various educational and social opportunities, including luncheons, conferences, formal teas, membership and leadership development courses, genealogy workshops, and informal get-togethers.
